PERSONAL DATA
Was born in February 5 1936, in Comartly village of Sisian region of Republic of Armenia.
Married. Has 4 children. Known Azeri, Turkish and Russian languages.
In 1962 graduated faculty of Biology of Azerbaijan State University.
In 1968 got a Candidate degree in Biology by thesis: “Benthic infusorians of west shores of South Caspian sea”.
In 1977 got a Doctor degree in Biology by thesis “The infusorians of Caspian sea”.
In 1962 - 1978 worked at the Zoological Institute of National Academy of Azerbaijan, from 1979 at present Head of Department of Invertebrate zoology of Baku State University.
Teaching in subjects Invertebrate zoology, Protozoology, Nature fauna, Special chapters of Zoology
Author of 130 scientific articles in refereed journals, 1 monograph and 4scientific books.
The first investigations of infusorians of Caspian sea, identification more then 150 biological species o infusorians of Caspian sea, 30 the new species o infusorians
The 4 dissertations theme course work supervisor of more than 20 senior and post-graduate students.
