PERSONAL DATA

Was born on January, 12th, 1940. Azerbaijanian. Married. Has 3 children and 6 grandsons. Lives in a city of Baku. Know Azerbaijan and Russian languages.

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED

1968 - finished biological faculty of Azerbaijan (now Baku) State University;
1974 - Candidate of biological sciences on a theme: «Research of genetic activity of some new N-N - N-alkilmochevin on wheat» on a speciality 03.00.15 - genetics;
1991 - has protected the dissertation work for a doctor's degree on a theme: «Protective effect of antioxidants at spontaneous and radiation-induced mutagenezis» at Institute of Genetics and Selection Azerbaijan (now National) Academies of sciences.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

1968 - after the university termination worked as the director of a museum «Theory of evolution» at chair «genetics and darvinism»;
1969-1072 – the teacher of chair chair «genetics and darvinism»;
1972-1979 – the senior teacher of chair «genetics and darvinism»;
1979-1992 – the senior lecturer of chair «genetics and darvinism»;
Since 1992 year the professor of chair «genetics and darvinism»;
Since 2008 year the pro-rector by correspondence and second formation of the Baku State University; Author of 170 scientific articles, 30 books, including 5 textbooks, 8 manuals, 1 monograph, 3 autor’s certificates;
has prepared 4 candidates of sciences;
Basic scientific achievements: - prepared the doses of 22 antioxidants possessing high antimutagen effect; - defined universal properties of antioxidants in antimutagenezis area.

PRESENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

Investigation small doses of gamma radiation to antimutagen effect antioxidants;
Investigation to antimutagen effect of antioxidants in seeds wheat and bow, preserved in ozone medium in some times; Investigation causes distribution of talassemiya in some regions of Azerbaijan
