Title of work: Influence of regulators on biochemical processes of growth and development of vegetative organisms.
Performer: Head of Biochemistry and biotechnology department prof. A.A.Guliev. It has been established that auksin (β-indolil) on first stages of development of apple fruits slows down biosynthesis and activity malatdehydrogenase (MDG), stimulates glucose-6-phosphatedehydrogenase biosynthesis. In maturing phase the sensitivity to this phytohormone falls, its influence on synthesis and activity MDG is increased. Conducted researches give us the opportinity to propose that at various stages of fruits growth NADPH-generating enzymes are under regulation of phytohormones.
Title of work: Determination of gluten in some wheat seeds.
Performer: Associated professor of Biochemistry and biotechnology department A.A.Nasibov.
Quality of gluten is defined by its colour, elasticity, length, force of a stretching. For obtaining qualitative gluten it is necessary to wash up starch and a peel from a flour. For determination of gluten cleanliness the iodine solution is used. Length of gluten was short – 8 sm, average - 8-15 sm, long – 15 sm and more. It has been established that force of a stretching fluctuates from 0.4 sm/mines up to 15 sm/minute. The more quantity of gluten in a flour, the higher there will be a quality of the baked bread. Rational purifiction of gluten bring about obtaining of the protein riched flour.
Title of work: Studying of role NADPH-generative enzymes in the adaptation of plants to extremely environment conditions.
Performer: Associated professor of Biochemistry and biotechnology department Mammadov Z.N.
It is established that addition of NaCl, Na2SO4 in prepared subepidermal disks of apples seeds occurs increasing of activity G6PDH. Same changing in quantity of MDG was observed. Probably for restriction of negative action of salts are necessary NADPH-generative enzymes.
Title of work: Isolation of radiotoxins from the irradiated sprouted barley.
Performer: Associated professor of Biochemistry and biotechnology department. Tagizade Z.A.
In cells of the irradiated organisms under the action of radiation formed substances with radiobiological effect. These are radiotoxins. Probably, that one of reasons of decreasing formation of gibberellin-like substances is irradiation of embryonal tissue and formation of radiotoxins under synthesis of L-amilase. For check-up of this assumption experiments with 40 kg irradiated embrional tissues of seeds have been conducted. From the obtained results it becomes clear that similar effect observed under irradiation of seeds.
Title of work: Studying of the nature of bacteriocino-like compounds.
Performer: Associated professor of Biochemistry and biotechnology department Gyulahmadov S.Q.
Physical and chemical factors of influence bacteriocino-like compounds on the isolated fermented products have been studied. Between рН optimum the compounds assigned for recultivation and рН of antibacterial substances noted a regularity. At neutral рН real activity does not coincide with theoretical, smaller activity is observed. This phenomenon can be explained as follows: at normal рН occurs absorbation of producer in the cell by egested antibacterial substances. It was observed higher activity at acid (2-3) and alkaline рН (8-9).
Title of work: Phytochemical research of biologically active substances of Smirnopsys Oshe.
Performer: Associated professor of Biochemistry and biotechnology department Z.R.Jafarov.
It is established that dry weight of roots, stems, plant leaves contain 0.49-1.15 mg cumarines, 0.52-1.06 mg flavonoids, 0.17-0.61 mg glycosides, 1.14-2.91 mg tannin, 0.066-0.085 mg alcoloides, 4.71-24.71 mg oils. Physical and chemical indicators of oils have been revealed, for the first time lipid composition has been studied. There were identified carbohydrates, triglycerides, free fat acids and free steroids.
Title of work: Obtaining of enzymatic preparation and studying of physical and chemical properties of NADP-dependent isocitratedehydrogenase from apple fruits.
Performer: The lecturer of Biochemistry and biotechnology department S.N.Omarova.
Enzimatic preparation of NADP dependent isocitratedehydrogenase from subepidermal tissue of apple fruits has been obtained. As a result of researches the optimum medium for obtaining of active enzymatic preparation of NADP-IDH has been revealed. In this medium such classical substances as tris-НСl buffer, ЕDТА, MgCl2 were used. PVP and PEQ were used as absorbents , and 2-merkaptoetanol as reducing agent. Follow obtaining of a enzymatic preparation some physical and chemical properties have been studied. It is established that рН optimum of the enzyme is equal 8.2. Low concentrations of Mg and Mn ions activate NADP-IDH, and high concentrations - inhibited. The enzyme is characterized by Mihaelis-Menten kinetics. Values of Km for substrat and cofacot are equal 5.8 mkM and 2.3 mkM, accordingly. Such nucleotidtriphosphates as GTP, АТP and UТP in a complex with Mg ions exert inhibitory effect on NADF-IDH, and corresponding nukleotiddiphosphates – activate the enzyme.
Title of work: Obtaining of antibacterial substances from lactic acid bacteria.
Performer: Lecturer of Biochemistry and biotechnology department N.A.Abdullaev. Morphophisiological and microbiological analysis of the bacteria obtained from lactic acid bacteria. Screening of LAB based on their antimicrobic and proteolitic activity. The proteolitic activity was established in С5 strain. This activity allows to use С5 strain as start culture, but for this purpose it is necessary to establish properties of proteolitic activity and to conduct an identification of the strain.
Title of work: Studying of physiological and biochemical bases of growth and development in culture.
Performer: The lecturer of Biochemistry and biotechnology department I.M.Alimamedzade.
In result of works with two varieties of grapes it has been established that each variety reacts differently to change of a technological stage. Becouse of obtaining of risogenic induction at a stage-1, researches were spent on plants, obtained at this stage. The ferulic acid was used as inductor. Our purpose was keep IAA pool due to inhibition indonilacetic acid oxidase. The requirement of genotypes for this "pool" is various.
