Graduate Faculty of Biology participated in training in field of molecular genetics03/10/2011
Graduate Faculty of Biology, Gulzar Narimanova, Aygun Israilova and Elvin Huseynov participated in training in field of molecular genetics. Trainings were organized with the participation of the German Academic (DAAD), Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University of Mannheim (UUM), and Baku State University.
Along with the graduate faculty in our training was also participated the young doctors and biologists was invited from the universities of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Czech Republic and Russia. The aim of training was to increase the level of theoretical and practical knowledge of students and young scientists in the field of molecular genetics.
During the five-day training (September 24-28, 2011) covered themes Polymerase chain reaction (PCR), cloning, RNA cleavage.
Trainings was conducted by Professor Medical Faculty of Heidelberg University of Mannheim Matthias Hafner and Dr. Ralph Zhesenovskim. Upon completion certificate was issued to the participants.
Professor Matthias Hafner and Dr. Ralph Zhesenovsky were invited to the leadership of the Baku State University. During a meeting with the Rector Academician A.Maharramov guests got acquainted with the laboratories and departments. At this time, between Heidelberg University and Baku State University are negotiating an exchange student.
